R.A.S. Naidu obtained M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) & Ph.D. (Transdermal) from Andhra University, PGD(Patents) from NALSAR University, M.B.A (Pharma) from ICFA University.
During his more than 35 years of academic and industrial experience including 2 years overseas (Canada) in Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical industries, he has been at the forefront in the shift from the traditional formulation development for domestic market to pharmaceutical development using enhanced Quality by Design approach meeting the requirements of multinational companies and international regulated markets including USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, UK and various European countries. He has been involved in continuous improvement of cGMPs, GLPs, GCPs following Safety, Efficacy and Quality guidelines recommended by FDA and ICH.
Dr. RAS Naidu has contributed to more than 20 publications in the field of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals covering the areas of pre-formulation, formulation development of transdermal drug delivery systems, modified drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical analysis, stability testing, and statistical applications to pharmaceutical systems and more. Additionally, he has a number of patents in the area of pharmaceutical dosage forms including clinically proven and commercialized patent. He has participated and delivered scientific and regulatory lectures in various national and international conferences. In addition, Dr. Naidu has delivered several lectures to students of` various institutions, societies, associations, and university pharmacy colleges.
